Why only dream, why only wish you have something? Why not actually do something to achieve your dream, to get what you actually want? That's what I say to people who come to me for advice on their so-called 'impossible future'. They want something they think they'll never have, so below are a few tips to actually achieve and live your dreams.

And here are tips to live your dream!
Start big.
“Almost everyone says start small, but why? What's the point of starting small? Set a higher goal first, then work out your smaller point goals that you need, in order to achieve your dream.”
Set a large goal in life first. This goal might change slowly, but you want an idea of what you want. Write that goal down in large, bold letters and put it somewhere you can see everyday. I suggest you put it on your bedside table, or hang it on the wall.
And after you know what you want, what your ultimate goal is in life, you think about what things you have to do to achieve this goal. Perhaps your goal is to be a best-selling author. Write that down, and hang it onto the wall. Now, what do you have to do to be a best-selling author? First, you need to have a book, a manuscript. So get to work! Write down 'manuscript' in smaller bold letters, and put it under your goal. And after you have a manuscript, you have to get it published. There are quite a few ways to do this, but perhaps you'll want to publish your story on wattpad! Then write 'Publish on wattpad", put it higher than the 'manuscript'. After that, your goal could be winning competitions. 'Win awards on wattpad.' After that, you could put 'Win the Wattys.'
Do you see? Pave and plan out your road to your dream, check every step of the way and there's a much higher chance to your success and you're closer to your dream!
Be real.

Now come on. If your dream is 'I want to rule the world', then okay. I think you'll find this post a bit unhelpful. Your dreams should be big, your dreams should seem almost impossible, but honestly. Get a dream that's still humanly possible, please don't make it 'I want to fly around the world and be like superman.' Sure, it could be that, but I think your goal would be 'Design a machine that can make people fly and seem like superman.'
Make sure your dream is what you want.
“Live your own dream, don't live the life that seems like paradise but isn't what you actually want.”
If your dream is to be like an influencer, to live in a big house, and to be famous and rich, go for it! Its a big dream. But don't get overly influenced by social media. Don't just do something because you think: 'Oh, this is cool! Oh, this is trendy! Oh my god this person is so cool because he/she/they are rich! Oh my gosh i have to buy this if I want to be trendy!' No. Just no. Following the media, following ads and following the trends seem amazing at the time, but honestly, please don't go around following the trends like headless chickens and end up getting addicted. I'm a fan of some influencers myself, and some influencers are bad and some are good, figure out the good and bad before you start and make your goal to be like them.
Because if your dream isn't what you actually want, you'll easily lose motivation and end up at the starting point of confusion again.
Work for it
Last but not least, you have to work for your dreams. Dreams that are achieved by doing nothing aren't good, because you won't know what you had to pay to achieve them. Everyone has to work for their dreams, and that's what keeps people on their dreams.
If you don't work for your dreams and complain all day about not managing to achieve them, then sorry, not my problem or my fault. You have to work and pay your sweat and blood for your dreams, and when its the day you'll finally achieve them, you'll be the happiest person on earth, trust me on this.
